Lauren's World: April 2009

This weekend mom and I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's while dad went fishing on Lake Superior. We had a lot of fun, and mom even took me out to the barn! We got to see lots of really big moo-moos and then we found the baby kittens (actually Mischa helped with that part!). I just loved petting the kitties and they were small enough for me to pick up all by myself. This silly black kitten was sitting in the milk dish!

The Easter Bunny brought me some gooey purple bunnies and mommy let me try my first one yesterday! First I thought it was pretty funny and mushed it in my hand, and then I decided to talk to the bunny a little bit. Finally mommy showed me that I could eat the little fellow, and was he ever delicious! I don't think I'll waste time talking to the next one:)

I had a really busy Easter, but I had a lot of fun. And I sure got a lot of great Easter treats! Here is the basket the Easter Bunny left for me.

Next we went to Grandma and Grandpa Weimert's for Easter breakfast. Of course there was an Easter basket waiting for me there. This one is from Uncle Joe and Aunt Bobbi.

And this wagon was filled with sand toys from Grandma and Grandpa for Lake Superior.

Next we headed to Great-Grandma Krumm's house to celebrate with all of my aunts and uncles and cousins. Lucy helped me play with my new tea set from Grandma and Grandpa McNamara.
