New Stats

Ella and I both had doctor appointments today, so we have some new stats to report. Ella already weighs 7lbs. 2oz. and is 20.25 in. This puts her at 50th percentile for height and 25th for weight. I weighed 23lbs. 4oz. and measured 33.25 in. tall. I have been growing steady in the 90th percentile for height and 25th for weight. The doctor listened to both our hearts, looked at our eyes, ears, and teeth, and gave us great reports. I did have to have my flu shot, which kind of hurt, but I got a band-aid afterwards. And I got sympathy all day- all I had to do was flash the gas station clerk my leg, and she gave me a sticker!

Visitors

Ella has been home a whole week now, and we sure have had a lot of company! I am loving the extra attention, and I even got a few big sister gifts. We took Ella to her first doctor's appointment today, and it went well. I held mommy's hand in the parking lot, and was a good helper while we waited. Here are a few pictures of our visitors. Thanks for making the trip up to Rice Lake everyone:) Hopefully we can make it to coffee next weekend!

She's Here!!!

I'm sure you have heard by now, but my baby sister arrived Sunday night at 7:32. She weighed 6lb. 13oz. and was 18 1/2 in. long (just 3 ounces more than me, and the same length!). Mom had another very quick labor, she got to the hospital at 6:08 and Ella was here an hour and a half later. Mom assures everyone that it did not feel that "quick." Anyway, we are all doing really well. When I feel especially loving in the morning I spoil Ella with kisses and gentle pats on the back. And the rest of the day mom makes sure to take time to play with me every chance she gets- Ella sleeps a lot right now, but I suppose that will change. Oh, and I have added a new word to my fast-growing vocabulary: Sister! Mom and dad tried to get me to say it for the last three months, but I just had to see my little sister before I could give them the satisfaction:)

It's A Party...

Last weekend we celebrated Grace and Lucy's birthdays. It was a beautiful day, and we celebrated with great food, amazing chocolate mousse cake, and lots of family.

Wisconsin Dells

Last weekend mom and dad took me to Wisconsin Dells for one last trip before my baby sister arrives. We stayed at the Kalahari with Gary and Angie and their daughter Leah. Leah is exactly one year older than me, and we sure had fun together. Of course there were moments when we didn't want to share our dolls with each other (our moms thought bringing four dolls was enough...), but the water parks were a blast!
