Mommy is Taking Over

As you have probably noticed, my blog got a makeover. And we decided that it should be a family blog now that I have a baby sister (i.e., my mom does not have time to run two separate blogs)! I will still pop in and write sometimes, but my mom is going to handle most of the posts from now on. Thanks for following!

Pumpkin Carving

Daddy and I carved our pumpkin just in time for Halloween! I cleaned out all of the "pumpkin guts" and left the carving up to dad. Mom was worried I wouldn't like it, but I thought it felt pretty cool and the final result was definitely worth it. Now I'm hoping it will scare away the trick-or-treaters so I have some leftover candy:)

Ella Update

First time in Baby Bjorn.

Sleeping peacefully... during the day.

Just thought it was time to let you know what my baby sister has been up to! She really likes to hang out in the Baby Bjorn, which is good news for me because mama can take me outside and still have two hands to play! She also is starting to take a pacifier. Mom and dad are so happy about this. She doesn't like it all the time, but it does do the trick sometimes. And lastly, she is still sleeping wonderfully during the DAY:) She still hasn't quite figured out day vs. night, but mom keeps hoping she will someday soon. Ella typically stays awake until 12:30 at night and then sleeps in so mom and I can snuggle and eat breakfast together. As for me, I still love to tickle Ella's feet and give her lots of kisses.

Another (boy)Friend

This weekend my mom's friend Megan came all the way to Rice Lake to stay with us. And she brought my friend Maddox with! We sure had a lot of fun playing together- so much fun that neither of us stopped to nap. Of course Megan and my mom had to go shopping while they were together, and lucky for me they chose to get their fix at Toyland! They filled up the whole car, and were pretty excited about their purchases. I can't wait until Christmas! (I am hoping mom can't either and she decides to give me some presents early:)

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch. Even though we already had our pumpkins courtesy of Aunt Diane and Uncle Greg, I convinced mom to take me to see the animals. I got to pet and feed the hungry goats and hold a baby bunny! We also played on the straw bales and climbed way up high into a circus elephant (made of tin...). Dad wanted to do the corn maze so we opted for the short one since mom was pretty certain Ella wouldn't have been thrilled with the 10-acre course.

Meet My Friend

My friend Landon came to visit on Friday! He lives all the way down in Portage so I don't get to see him very often. I guess daddy went to school with his mommy and daddy way back when. We sure had a lot of fun playing together, especially after I showed him how to throw the ball for Mischa. I hope we see him again soon:)

Oktoberfest

Saturday night we attended the annual Oktoberfest party at the Tellijohn's. It was way too cold to play outside, so I stayed inside and played with my friend Maddox. I had a lot of fun, and was still playing at 11pm when we left! And this post would not be complete without mentioning that daddy won the Light Beer category of the beer tasting contest.... mom and I are so proud:)

My 15 Minutes Outside!

Everyone keeps complaining about this cold weather, it seems my mom just isn't ready for it yet! And she can't figure out why I still want to go outside and play. Well, lucky for me, we went to grandma and grandpa's on Saturday and grandma took me outside to play with Grace and Lucy. We made the most of our 15 minutes outside!

Our Walks Resume!

I'll be honest here... Mischa and I were getting a little concerned that we may never go for walks again. All summer we walked almost every day- and we love it! I get to hold Mischa's leash and we all get some fresh air. Well, when baby Ella came along, our walks suddenly stopped. But mom fixed the problem, she finally made a decision on a double stroller! You should have seen my face light up when mom mentioned a walk today! And I didn't even hesitate when she asked if Ella could ride along! Look at this fun new stroller! And I get to sit in front and lead the way.
